An Artistically Spiritual Evolution:
Creativity is key in the continuing evolution of human consciousness. Art makes us feel. It makes us think, or it makes us forget. It helps us laugh, or cry, or empowers us, or it brings us peace. Art tells a story, and connects us on the path to healing one step at a time.
So... How do we make art more accessible to people who need it?
In this trying time of political unrest, social change, and spiritual upheaval, it is essential that we share our gifts with others - so we can exchange ideas, promote creativity, and spread a little joy.
But you don't have to call yourself an "artist" to enact change. Art has no definition. Whatever it is that makes you come alive, do it.
Because the world needs it right now. The world needs people who have come alive. The world needs people who dare not passively accept the world they've been given, but rather use the powers they have within to create something new.
Rachel Chavkin addressed the need for change in her 2019 Tony Award winning speech, saying, “This is not a pipeline issue. It is a failure of imagination by people whose job it is to imagine the way the world can be.”
Spread love and be a light. You never know who may need it.
